Hibiscus at Kipandi Butterfly Park.
If you visit the butterfly park during a weekday, you are most certainly to have the park to yourself. However, mid-year is not a great time to visit, if you are into orchids. Too much rain. Very few orchids in bloom. Very few butterflies too. Nonetheless, still interesting enough for an macro enthusiast to spend a few hours there.

Geesinkorchis alaticallosa at Kipandi Butterfly Park.
Found only in Borneo, in Kerangas forest (Sundaland heath forest) at elevations from 400 metres to 1000 metres. It has tiny flowers of about 1 cm across.

Cleisotoma Subulatum at Kipandi Butterfly Park.
These are found from India to the Philippines in lowland at elevations from 100 metres to 500 metres. The flower size is about 1 cm.

The Pencil-Like Leaf Cleisostoma

Cleisostoma teretifolium at Kipandi Butterfly Park.
An orchid with miniature flowers of about 0.4 cm. They are found in Thailand, Peninsular Malaysia, Borneo and Sumatra in hill forests at elevations of 10 metres to 500 metres.

Beatiful colours of the tiny Micropera Fuscolutea.
The Micropera Fuscolutea.
These are found in Peninsular Malaysia and Borneo on citrus trees and riverine forests at elevations up to 600 metres. The flowers are about 1.25 cm.
