Liparis lacerata

Liparis lacerata

I really like the long pendulous inflorescence with many tiny flowers measuring about 1 cm across. This one was photographed at Kipandi Butterfly Park which is about 700 metres above sea level. The park is 36 km from Kota Kinabalu City. The wild orchids are housed in covered nurseries in the flora garden.

thank you lord, for the food.

Proboscis monkey at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, Kinarut.

There is no need to forage for food and evade predators in the wildlife park. On the other hand, it may be thinking.. “Oh no, not peas again for lunch. How about some fruits?” Well, they do get their servings of fruits and seeds, too. This wonderful creature of Borneo is a must-see if you visit Sabah. Photographed at Lok Kawi Wildlife Park, Kinarut.
