I like to photograph both the orangutans and the proboscis monkeys. The orangutans are more challenging to photograph as they are always in the bright sun, or are resting on the raised platform in the middle of the ‘island’. I usually use ‘dodge & burn’ to control the strong contrast of light. Wikipedia on orangutan {pongo pygmaeus}.
