Deare’s bulbophyllum is found in Borneo, Penninsular Malaysia and the Philippines. It grows at elevations of 700 to 1,200 meters above sea level. Each inflorescence bears one flower of about 7.5 cm (3 inches) across. The flower is long lasting, heavily textured and is slightly fragrant.
